SLEEP. BilbaoHesperia Bilbao - my room was one of the blue coloured ones
3 March 2013 • During my visit to Bilbao I wanted to indulge myself in some luxury. So I did. I wanted a hotel with a view and found my little paradise in the Hesperia Bilbao, a hotel of the Spanish NH chain. For a small extra fee I had my superior room with a view on the Nervión river. What I most liked about the room is that it had a bay window with a chaise longue in it. Perfect. After a full day of travelling and walking in the cold city all I wanted to do is chill with a beer, a book and the great view on the river and the Campo Volantín esplanade. In the distance I could see the Guggenheim and the Puente Príncipes de España. The room was big enough and modern with all the necessary amenities. During my stay life was coloured blue with a blue tinted window. It was okay. It does not always have to be pink.
Price paid in February 2013: €90.50 for a superior room
