I embarked Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ brand new EUROPA 2 in Southampton, in almost Mediterranean weather conditions. It was love at the first sight.
A high-end “less-is-more” design. Space, space and even more space. Outstanding service by beautiful people. Food… o my God… choice, creativity, quality… It has it all.
Often pictures say more than words, please enjoy.
For who are these cruises? Let’s say for successful 40+ people who are new to cruising and are used to get the very best, also for their children. Life on board is deliciously casual, international and contemporary.
From 2013 onwards, the EUROPA 2 will be heading for the most appealing destinations in the world. From May to September she will be cruising in the Western Mediterranean – coastal cities such as Barcelona and St. Tropez and splendid islands such as Sardinia are only some of the highlights of this region.
Until November, the EUROPA 2 will subsequently set sail for the Eastern Mediterranean – Greek Islands, destinations by the Black Sea and on the Turkish Aegean will define the itinerary.
The Arabian Peninsula with its booming metropolises is on the agenda from November to December 2013 as well as in April 2014.
Straight after this, the EUROPA 2 will be in Asia from December 2013 to April 2014 – look forward to Vietnam, Malaysia and many other fascinating destinations. Hapag-Lloyd Cruises mainly strive to visit the small, less well-known ports.
Thanks to her small size, the EUROPA 2 can also reach more remote destinations located far away from the usual ports of call.
